Preview: Luxury Living for Lake Lovers |

Homes at Sheerwater can be built in a variety of styles. Renderings courtesy of the Mission Group.
Sheerwater, on 70 acres of forested hillside
overlooking Okanagan Lake, is going to be an exclusive, high-end
community for wealthy water lovers. Developed by The
Mission
Group, it's located on varied land with trees off Clifton
Road at the base of Knox Mountain. Twenty-four lots between
two and 4 3/4 acres offer stunning panoramic views of the lake
and hills beyond. A tram transports residents up and down a
steep incline so they can access their
boats in the lake, privately moored at a 98 metre
floating dock with custom lifts. The 580-acre Knox Mountain Park is
accessible by path.
Ten sites remain for sale, starting at $1.15 million. Because
of the generous size of the sites, the homes can be built in a
variety
of architectural styles, though there are design and
landscape controls. The building timeline is unlimited and
homeowners can choose their own builder.
